2011 BMW 7-Series

The flagship of BMW's lineup, the 7 Series offers more variants than the 3 Series,
10 in all. But for as large as this sedan is, BMW has managed to make it
around you, the only time you feel how large this vehicle is would be
when you try parking it. But even then, all the electronic gadgets
will help to safely guide you into your spot.

The 4.4-liter twin-turbocharged V-8 is more than up to the challenge of propelling
this massive machine down the road. If you really want to move out,
the turbocharged V-12 is available. Probably the biggest surprise of the
7 Series is how well it does in some twisties.

It's surprisingly flat and poised -- you can really throw this vehicle around and be quite rewarded for doing it.The 2011 7 Series for the first time comes with BMW's xDrive All-Wheel-Drive system as an option.

In addition, BMW has added the 3.0-liter inline-6 engine to the 7 Series engine lineup as the car's base engine. You have your choice between either an 8-speed or 6-speed automatic depending on trim level.

2011 BMW 5 Series

This week's cover of the respected British motorsport magazine Autosport, carries a picture of Fillipe Massa declaring his intention to "take the fight to Alonso in 2011."

The 2011 World Rally Championship season less than a month away the
Citroen team was proud to unveil their newest entry, the Citroen DS3
WRC. Sebastien Loeb will once again lead the team with Sebastien
Ogier and co-driver Julien Ingrassia.

The third-generation Mercedes-Benz SLK roadster will arrive in New Zealand later this year with a "magic" ingredient - an optional glass roof that switches from light to dark. The carmaker calls the panoramic roof feature "magic sky control", in that it can be switched from light to dark with the touch of a button to block out sun.

The car comes standard with a retractable metal roof that folds into the boot. It takes styling cues from the CLS sedan and the SLS AMG coupe. "The new SLK embodies the role of the trendsetter," said Dieter Zetsche, CEO of parent-company Daimler.

"I am convinced that with its passionate design, its high-quality interior and its modesty
at the fuel station, it will continue to provide an enormous amount of fun on the
road in future, too, consolidating its status as a cult roadster."
